Over the next year or so, the Pierre Gimonnet
estate will be rolling out its new labels, which are more of an update rather than a radical departure from the old ones. A comparison of the two can be seen in the above photo, with the old label on the right and the new one on the left.
Didier Gimonnet notes that in addition to giving the labels a more contemporary feel, he wanted to make the estate's name stand out more when viewed from a distance, hence the glossy black lettering on the contrasting white background.
